How to install or upgrade FREE ClientEXEC software

Free ClientEXEC licenses are available to all customers with "Private Reseller" or "Global Reseller" plans. Grandfathered packages: "SD-1", "SD-2", "SD-3", "RS-1", "RS-2", "RS-3", "RS-4", "Business" also have free billing software addon.

How to install ClientEXEC

Please install ClientEXEC via cPanel > Softaculous first then request free Leased license from us (Support Center > Private Resellers). Please provide location of your ClientEXEC installation. We'll issue new license within 2-3 business days.

You can also install ClientEXEC manually (30-60 minutes):

1. Download latest ClientEXEC Software;

2. Unzip it on personal computer;

3. Please find correct folder for upload. It will look like this: clientexec_6_4_2_ioncube > clientexec. Upload content inside "clientexec" folder to subdomain, addon or separate account via FTP. Please be patient! It may take 30-60 minutes to upload thosands of files!

4. Create data base via cPanel > MySQL.

5. Create username with strong password then add it to newly created data base with "ALL" privileges.

6. Open your subdomain (where you uploaded ClientEXEC files) in the browser then follow onscreen instructions (connection to data base etc.) You may safely ignore any WARNINGS.

How to upgrade current ClientEXEC installation manually (~ 1 hour).

You can upgrade current ClientEXEC installation in about 1 hour. You must have super admin username and password, backups and FTP client (we use free Filezilla).

1. Download latest ClientEXEC Software;

2. Unzip it on personal computer then remove "config.php" and "uploads" folder;

3. Backup existing MySQL data base and also entire website via cPanel > Backup > Generate full cPanel backup. Download backup to personal computer.

4. Backup important configuration file to your computer: config.php and also uploads directory (just in case).

5. Remove all files via FTP except "config.php" and "uploads" folder. If you had own "favion" file, please keep it as well.

6. Upload new ClientEXEC files back via FTP to ClientEXEC original folder.

7. Navigate to your ClientEXEC in the browser then follow onscreen instructions.
