Dear NYhosters,
Server reboot is required in order to install new Linux kernel and keep your data safe & secure. Previously we were able to schedule server reboot well in advance; we usually gave 1 week notice. Some servers had 700+ days of uptime. Everything has changed with AI. Once we get security patch, security kernel etc, we INSTALL IT RIGHT AWAY. It might be two in the morning on Sunday, or perhaps Friday afternoon. We never know.

Thank you for understanding!
