Free Google account includes 15 GB of storage. Many of us store photos, share files and use email on daily basis. On July 1st, 2021 Google stopped providing unlimited data storage options. In less than a month we started to observe following behavior: thousands of bounced messages and data loss issues.
Most users report following error in email forwarders:
The email account that you tried to reach is over quota.
If you wish to resolve issue above, your options are:
1. Google suggested to delete old files, photos and cleanup email folders (spam, junk email and inbox). However, it will take some time for sure. It would be easier to create new free Gmail with another 15 GB of data then update email forwarder destination within cPanel. Please keep in mind that Google may delete your old account for inactivity.
2. If you like Google Apps, you may consider upgrade to "Business Starter" within new "Google Workspace". It cost $6 per email box per month and provides 30 GB of cloud storage (files, email, photos, video meetings etc.) "Business Standard" offers 2 TB of disk space. You can try Google Workspace for 14 days free of charge.
We've been using Google Workspace from day 1 and highly recommend it.
