NYhost.net offers various PHP versions from PHP 5.6 to PHP 8.0. You can select different version of PHP via cPanel > MultiPHP at any time.
How to change PHP version for specific website
1. Please login to cPanel;
2. Proceed to MultiPHP;
3. Select PHP version on the right then check domain name below and hit "apply".
500 error right after PHP version change/update
If you see "500" or "internal server error" right after PHP upgrade, that means your PHP scripts are not compatible with selected version. Please downgrade to previous version then upgrade your PHP scripts. You must backup website data and MySQL data bases via cPanel > Backup > Generate full cPanel backup then backup MySQL data bases prior upgrade.
